1. Crawling: Search engine bots visiting a web page by following links and thoroughly scanning through all the data on it is termed crawling.

2. Indexing: When search engine bots take a snapshot of the web page and save it to their main server, it is called Indexing.

3. SERP(Search Engine Result Page): A web page that a search engine returns after a search query have been submitted is known as SERP. It includes organic search results, paid search and pay-per-click ads.

4. Black hat: SEO techniques that violate Google Webmaster Guidelines are called Black Hat. Google has a strict policy against it and penalizes websites by throwing them out of the search results.

5. DA & PA: Domain Authority(DA) tells us about the overall ranking potential of a domain and Page Authority(PA) is the potential of a single web page to rank in search results.

6. Inbound Link: Also commonly known as backlinks are links that track down to your website from another website. These are the most important elements in SEO as google view backlinks as an indication of high-quality content.

7. Bounce Rate: If a user lands on your website and leaves without any further action then this is termed as a bounce. Bounce rate is the percentage of how many users landed and left from the landing page to the total number of all sessions recorded by Google Analytics.

8. Page Views: It is a view of a given page on the website tracked by analytics tracking code. Reloading a page is counted as an additional view, while if the user navigates to another page and returns to the same page then it is recorded as another page view.

9. Users & Sessions: A unique visitor or a person who has come to your website is termed a User. Visits or different times that person coming to your website is known as Sessions.

10. CPC(Cost Per Click): It is the actual price paid each time when someone clicks on those PPC(pay-per-click) or ad banners. In the CPC model, one pays for clicks as contrary to impressions(user viewing the ad but not clicking). It is popular on platforms such as google ads.
